The Sahara Desert 11.29.04

shradune.jpg

The Sahara Desert is pure in form like that of the ocean. The wind constantly changes the landscape. Subtracting the lighter sand granules from the ground to the air and placing them again on the next sand dune. Their are no straight lines in the desert, all curves, one after another. At night their are more stars then I have ever seen. You feel like you are in space and not on earth. Except for the little critters that try and steel your food from your hands and the camel making noises.

"The room is the beginning of architecture. It is the place of the mind. You in the room with its dimensions, its structure, its light respond to its character, its spiritual aura, recognizing, that whatever the human proposes and makes, becomes a life."
